Robert Hoff is the Managing Broker of Historic &
Distinctive Homes. He grew up in a small town just north of Cincinnati and
attended Western Kentucky University, where he was an honors student
majoring in Communications. His diverse background includes architectural
drafting, photography, television production, computer system design, 20
years of Real Estate experience and 30 years of sales and management
experience. He often says he never figured out what he wanted to be when he
grew up until now, but helping our agents develop their careers is the most
rewarding job he’s ever had. Robert keeps in touch with his creative side as
the photographer and technical director for the Karen Hoff Team. His family
has deep roots in aviation, and he loves the Florida coast, where he hopes
to have a second home someday. He has been happily married to his wife,

Carol Marie Hoff (Robert's mother) was Valedictorian class of 1952 at Mason High School. She graduated Miami University in 1956 cum laude with a BS in Education (She majored in Music and Math). In the 1960s she was hired to work as a programmer and learned all the old computer languages (1401 auto coder, Cobol, assembler, CB80, CB86). She remembers when you needed a room full of computers to do what my laptop can do today. Currently she works with our office manager to organize our monthly P & Ls. She also helps with the Hoff children on their many and varied school & sports & boy scouts needs. In between, she still finds time to help the "Karen Hoff Team" keep our flyer boxes filled. Her role in the team is as diverse in task as she is.

Carmen B. Reese “man spricht deutsch” Growing up in a family-owned retail business, Carmen's skills for selling and business were developed at an early age. She has a keen technical understanding that was developed during her apprenticeship as an electrician in her father's business. This ability has also given her a developed eye for excellence in craft and workmanship. Using her experience as an electrician, she pursued a successful technical and later a creative career in the TV- and film industry for 19 years with Germany's largest television stations, and most successful companies. Working for the German Public TV station, ZDF, as a TV-designer for on-air-promotion, she was on the broadcast team for the Olympic Games in Sydney, 2000 and Athens, 2004. After having lived on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean for over two years, her husband's successful music career prompted them to make a move to the United States. So in 2005 they relocated from Germany to Nashville with a 40-foot-container and became first time home buyers when they purchased an old home in the Belmont-Hillsboro Area. Carmen passionately renovated and updated the property on her own. They proceeded to invest in more real estate in Nashville and by managing their properties, Carmen discovered her love for real estate. Like many Europeans, Carmen loves historic homes for their craftsmanship and uniqueness in today's world. Or perhaps it is their familiarity, she herself having lived for years in a 1870 tudor home in Kronberg /Taunus, a tiny ancient city of the 13th century outside of Frankfurt/ Main. Carmen would like to help relocating families to find their perfect new home. Buyers of all countries will have fun meeting the eager, multi-lingual and humorous agent. She knows from past experience that moving to a new city or country can be both exciting and stressful yet, she also believes that finding the right house and making it a home definitely helps! |

I moved to Nashville, Tennessee in the summer of 2002 to complete a Bachelors degree in Business Management and Human Resource Management at Lipscomb University. Immediately upon graduating, I began my work in Real Estate at Weiss & Weiss Attorneys in Brentwood as a Closing Coordinator. The love I have for meeting, helping, and working with new people lead me to begin a career as a Real Estate Agent. Today I continue to work in Real Estate Law as well as sales. My experience with the ins and outs of real estate and the closing procedure will help make the process feel less like buying a house, and more like buying a place to call home. Jamie Carroll |
